The sunroof motor in my car shit itself last night. Time for an eBay search...

I had thought the motor had died on the one in my Evo, but found it was just the fasteners that attached the motor to the roof had backed out. Saved me getting a new motor. Might be something worth checking for your car.

Nope - it's shorted. Every time I go to replace the fuse it's arcs and blows the fuse again O_O

Thankfully the engineers thought of that - there's a Torx bolt to manually open and close the sunroof. It's cranked closed until I decide where to get a new motor.
